Note: If you are interested in visiting Laguna Baja, we recommend booking a tour with us. Our rates are very reasonable, approximately $110/day per person. Our guide, La Guía, has a unique and insightful perspective we would like to share. Here are three short videos where he explains to us about his wonderful homeland:
The Sierra down here is an amazing place. It’s a mountain range that essentially is the spine of the west coast of the continent. But the southern tip of the peninsula, including the Sierra de la Laguna, was formerly an island, and it has a distinctive geography and essence, in addition to flora and fauna, that make it a place not like any other. Everything is a little different down here. It’s as if the Earth took a slightly different turn, and while everything feels kind of familiar, it’s all a little not the same.
